Creating the covers for the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series Special Edition Box Set was a dream come true, especially working with artist @tomrobertsillustration! We decided to have each cover feature our favorite characters from the books with a before and after theme on each book.
The cover of Daughter of Smoke and Bone shows Madrigal from the battle scene holding a thurible! Karou holds her sketchbook on the back cover. Chimaera appear to be coming to life from the pages!

Days of Blood and Starlight features the White Wolf on the cover, too gorgeous for his own good. Ziri is spotlighted on the back with his kirin features of bat and gazelle aspect. If you've read the book, you know why these two characters are on the same cover!

The artwork inside the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Special Edition Box Set is so magical! And a lot of that magic is due to one of our favorite artists: Marcela Bolívar (@tropicalgloom). She created three tip-in pieces in the series, including a vellum overlay that we absolutely love.
