We received the books from the publisher this week and were so excited to get them out to you, however, noticed immediately during our quality check that they were missing their sprayed edges. Cue a major facepalm. We know how frustrating it is that these books were already late due to printing delays across publishing and to get the books without our sprayed edges was very disappointing.
We immediately went to work to find the best solution with the publisher. Here is LitJoy and the Publisher's plan to make this right with our valued customers.
- Because this crate is already delayed, we have decided to ship all of our Summer YA orders with the books we received ASAP. These books have been signed by the authors and are beautiful.
- Because of the missing sprayed edges, the publisher has agreed to reprint these books with the sprayed edgesand include a digital signature. This book will ship to you at no additional shipping costs, LitJoy will cover the shipping.
You will receive TWO books. One shipping this week that is signed by the authors with no sprayed edges and one shipping later that will have sprayed edges and digital signatures. *This is for anyone who purchased a book or crate before November 14th
While it's not what we originally intended (trust us, we wanted to give you the perfect single book), we are very appreciative to the publisher for doing their best to fix their mistake. We have included an apology letter from the publisher that will also be included in the crate!
