Throwback with Our Bestie, Rebecca Ross
Table of Contents
Rebecca Ross and LitJoy go way back. February 2018, to be exact.
With our Letters of Enchantment featuring Wild Reverence Special Edition Box Set coming this November, we thought it would be fun to look back at all the times we've worked with Rebecca to bring her stories off the page and into the hands of readers.
And there have been quite a few!
2018: Where It All Began
The Queen's Rising | February 2018 YA Crate
Our Rebecca Ross history started with The Queen's Rising, featured in our February 2018 Young Adult Crate.
We included artwork of the main character, Brienna, by artist Yara Noe, giving readers a beautiful piece of the story to keep long after finishing the book.
Little did we know we'd still be celebrating Rebecca's books together eight years later!
2020: Sisters of Sword and Song
Sisters of Sword and Song | June 2020 YA Crate
Two years later, Rebecca returned to our YA Crate with Sisters of Sword and Song.
This time, we worked with Esther Schrader on a reversible dust jacket and Kirsty Carter on tip-in artwork.
Two different artists bringing their interpretations of Rebecca's world to the same book? We loved seeing it all come together.
2021: Dreams Lie Beneath
Dreams Lie Beneath | November 2021 YA Crate
By November 2021, we were back for another Rebecca Ross release.
Dreams Lie Beneath joined our YA Crate with a reversible dust jacket and tip-in artwork illustrated by Alice Duke (@alice_duke).
At this point, featuring Rebecca's books was becoming a bit of a LitJoy tradition, and we weren't complaining.
Bringing Cadence to Life: A River Enchanted
Our Rebecca Ross collaborations eventually grew beyond the books themselves.
With A River Enchanted, we created an entire collection of products inspired by the story and its world.
The collection included:
🌿 Plant Mug
📖 Page Overlays
✨ Spirit Enamel Pin Set
💔 Broken Heart Trinket Tray
Each piece offered a different way to bring a little bit of Cadence into everyday life.
Extra! Extra! Our Divine Rivals Collection
And then came Divine Rivals.
We had so much fun creating products inspired by Iris, Roman, and the world of Rebecca's beloved duology.
The collection featured newspaper earrings, book inserts and page overlays, a key, and a replica typewriter desk organizer. (Want the full tour? Here's our Divine Rivals collection post.)
That typewriter desk organizer? Sold out. But the other three products are still available if you've been wanting a little more Divine Rivals on your bookshelf.

2026: Back Together Again
The Letters of Enchantment featuring Wild Reverence | November 2026
Which brings us to November!
Eight years after The Queen's Rising appeared in our YA Crate, we're getting ready to celebrate Rebecca Ross again with our Letters of Enchantment featuring Wild Reverence Special Edition.
We've loved getting to work with Rebecca's stories over the years, from those early YA Crates to entire product collections inspired by her books.
And we can't wait to share what's coming next.
