Why Nesta and Cassian?

In 2015, Sarah J. Maas brought A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) to the world and the fandom flew like the wings on those handsome Illyrian warriors. While most eyes are on Feyre and Rhysand, we can't help but also see and feel the complicated love affair brewing between the cold, calculating Nesta and the fearless, assertive Cassian. Hence, LitJoy presents the Nesta and Cassian Spotify Playlist.

Nesta and Cassian Playlist Song Inspiration

When Nesta meets Cassian she spits daggers of cold resentment with her words at Cassian and the Inner Circle, blaming them for Feyre’s transformation and bringing danger to the Archeron home. Even after Nesta and Elain are themselves transformed, Nesta, filled with the fiery rage of trauma bickers with Cassian constantly.

Especially when Nesta is forced to train with Cassian to harness her powers, as shown in the song "Wild Enough" by Elina.

Over time, Cassian shows that he’s the loyal protector that could break the ice around Nesta's heart, and he becomes Nesta’s safe space, as seen in songs like “Head and Heart on Fire” by LÉON and “MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT" by Elley Duhé.

Both Nesta and Cassian have had so much terrible pain and trauma in their lives that they are able to bond over it, which is showcased by the songs “Demons” by Hayley Kiyoko and “House of Memories” by Panic! At The Disco.

And for those of you who love the spice of their very flirtatious and fiery relationship, Songs like “Kill For Your Love” by Labrinth and “Crazy In Love” by Sofia Karlberg are for you!
