1. Sponsor

This promotion ("Giveaway") is sponsored by Lit Joy, LLC, dba LitJoy Crate, located at 5125 W Hudson Way, #100 Lehi, UT 84048 ("Sponsor").

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to:

• Legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia
• Nominators who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of participation
• Teachers currently employed at an accredited public or private K–12 school in the United States ("Nominated Teachers")

Employees, contractors, directors, officers, and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

3. Roles

• Nominators: Individuals who submit nominations or vote
• Nominated Teachers: Teachers nominated by others; do not enter themselves

Nominators are not eligible to win prizes.

4. Promotion Period

• Nomination Period: April 20, 2026 (12:00 AM MDT) – April 26, 2026 (11:59 PM MDT)
• Voting Period: May 1, 2026 (12:00 AM MDT) – May 7, 2026 (11:59 PM MDT)

5. How to Participate

Nomination

Submit via official form with:

• Nominator name and email
• Nominated Teacher name and school (required) as well as email (optional)
• City/state
• Short written nomination

Limit: One (1) nomination per person per day. Email marketing opt-in is optional and not required to participate.

Voting

• One (1) vote per person per calendar day (MST)
• Votes may not be submitted using multiple identities, emails, or automated means
• Votes may be audited and fraudulent activity may result in disqualification

6. Teacher Consent & Display

Nominated Teachers may be publicly displayed during the Voting Period. Sponsor reserves the right to:

• Contact Nominated Teachers prior to display
• Remove any nomination at its discretion
• Honor opt-out requests from teachers or their affiliated institutions

7. Submission Guidelines

Submissions must:

• Be original and truthful
• Not include personal information about students
• Not contain defamatory, offensive, or unlawful content

Sponsor may edit, adapt, or remove submissions for clarity, length, or compliance.

8. Winner Selection

Based on voting results, a pool of top nominated teachers will be selected as finalists. Winners will be selected by a panel of six (6) judges appointed by Sponsor: three (3) may be affiliated with Sponsor, and at least three (3) must be independent.

Judging criteria includes:

• Impact on students and community
• Quality and authenticity of nomination
• Demonstrated dedication and service

Sponsor reserves the right to determine final criteria and scoring. All decisions are final and binding.

9. Prizes

Ten (10) teachers will each receive approximately thirty (30) signed Special Edition copies of Wonder by R.J. Palacio. ARV: $1,500 per winner. Total ARV: $15,000.

Ten (10) additional teachers will each receive one set of middle grade special edition books, including LitJoy's Annotated & Signed Special Edition of Wonder, The Giver LitJoy Edition, Number the Stars LitJoy Edition, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre LitJoy Edition. ARV: $134.97 per winner. Total ARV: $1,349.70.

Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and may be required to submit a W-9 and receive a Form 1099.

10. Winner Notification & Acceptance

• Winners announced: May 8, 2026
• Winners must respond within seven (7) days
• Failure to respond, inability to contact, or rejection will result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner

11. School Policy Compliance

Winners are solely responsible for ensuring acceptance and use of the prize complies with their school or district policies. Sponsor is not responsible for any restrictions imposed by a winner's employer.

12. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and school name for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law. Winners may be required to sign a publicity release.

13. Rights Granted by Nominators

By submitting content, Nominators grant Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display submissions for promotional purposes. Nominators represent that submissions do not infringe third-party rights and comply with these rules.

14. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway due to fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control, and to disqualify any participant who violates these rules.

15. Limitation of Liability

Participants agree to release Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims arising from participation in the Giveaway, acceptance or use of any prize, or technical errors or interruptions.

16. Disputes

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. All disputes must be resolved individually (no class actions) and will be handled in courts located in Utah. Damages are limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses.

17. Privacy

Information collected is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy. Marketing emails are optional and participants may unsubscribe at any time.

18. Winners List

Available upon request within four (4) weeks after the Giveaway ends by contacting: help@litjoycrate.com

19. Social Media Disclaimer

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.

20. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

21. Acceptance of Rules

Participation constitutes full agreement to these Official Rules.
