There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem.
First, verify that the email address you are trying to log in with is the same email address you received a LitJoy confirmation email to.
Second, you may have previously checked out as a guest. Please take the email associated with your last order and create an account with that EXACT same email.
If you're still having trouble, email help@litjoycrate.com and we will send you an account invite so you can create a login and password with us.
CAUTION! Your order history, rewards points, subscriptions, and Lunacorns Memberships are all tied to your billing email. Changing your email yourself will disconnect your emails from some of these categories.
TO CHANGE YOUR EMAIL, contact help@litjoycrate.com to ensure a successful transfer of your information to your new email.

To Bee Read Subscription Questions
When you subscribe to LitJoy you will be charged immediately for the subscription model you have chosen. Once your subscription cycle has ended, you will be automatically re-billed for the same cycle model until you decide to switch to a different plan or cancel your subscription.
For example: a To Bee Read annual subscriptions purchased on February 15th will renew again on February 1st the following year.

Yes. All renewing subscribers that received the previous book box get early access to customization week.
Shipping rates are determined by carriers and are subject to change with carrier policies and price fluctuations.
International orders: Customs, duties, and import taxes are collected for any orders shipping to Great Britain based on current regulations. All other international countries, LitJoy does not collect taxes. Your order may be subject to additional fees upon delivery, determined by your country. International shipping reflect current international shipping rates.
To Bee Read
Domestic shipments have a set shipping price based on if you get a book, standard, or deluxe box.
International subscriptions will have varied shipping price depending on current carrier rates.
With the Deluxe box you have the opportunity to customize your book choice and you will automatically receive every item from each tier, so no selections need to be made for tier 1-3.
Deluxe boxes do not have the option to opt for points instead of items in the tiers.
To Bee Read Subscriptions
We offer Young Adult and Adult special edition signed books from a variety of different genres, including, fantasy, romance, fairytale, contemporary, science fiction, dystopian, mystery, thriller, and more! 🐝 Each quarter you can customize your box and choose which book is best suited for you or for someone you are gifting to.
Items in the Standard and Deluxe box represent general bookish or well-known Young Adult and Adult novels.
Don't worry! We will choose some fun items for you!
You are able to apply a discount to your subscription before renewals.
Once you have redeemed our code, you can apply it by:
1. Click TBR Subscriptions on the left menu
2. Click Edit
3. Scroll to the bottom to see info about your Next Charge, and Apply Your Discount Code.
No. Selecting products can only occur with the choice levels presented during customization week.
During customization week, existing subscribers can change their choices as much as you like (so long as there is inventory).
After customization week closes, you must email help@litjoycrate.com for customization assistance.
The customizations you selected will still apply when you have successfully resolved the charge error within 7 days after renewals. After 7 days subscriptions are canceled and a new subscription must be purchased if you still wish to subscribe to a box.
You can skip your upcoming subscription up until your renewal has processed. An annual subscription can not be skipped for the boxes that have been pre-paid.
If your subscription type has not sold out, you may request to un-skip by emailing help@litjoycrate.com at least 24 hours before the renewal charge.
If you un-skip after the customization period has ended, we will surprise you with our picks from each Choice Level.
Yes, you can see your selections by going to your customer portal page under TBR Subscriptions.

If you don’t click “confirm” after you select your customizations it does not save to your account and any previous saved customizations or the default selections will apply.

Shipping
If your order has already been placed, but NOT shipped:
If your order has not shipped and we have not created a label for your order, we can manually change your shipping address for you.
If you have moved to a different country or a different domestic shipping zone there could be an increase in shipping cost that will need to be paid to ship to the new address.
You may request an address update to any open orders by filling out this form.
If your order has shipped:
Once your order has left our facility, or the shipping label has been printed, we cannot change the address of the order.
In the event that your order is returned to us, we can forward it to your new address and a re-shipping fee will be applied.
If you have a subscription, and need to change your address for future orders:
Log in to your account at LitJoyCrate.com and click "Shipping Address". Next, click "Edit Address". You can then update your address so any future renewals will be for the updated address.
Note: Changing your address on the website will NOT update the shipping address on any past orders including subscriptions that have already renewed.
Once your label has been printed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email with your tracking number. Make sure to check your spam folder for this email.

LitJoy cannot guarantee delivery time for orders.
US orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. Most U.S. orders will arrive within 5-10 business days, however, this is not a guaranteed shipping time frame.
International orders are shipped via DHL International. Please note that shipping in some countries takes longer than others and there is no guaranteed arrival date with international orders.
LitJoy Crate is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, global pandemics, couriers, or theft. Note, our customer service cares about your order and would be happy to address your concerns at help@litjoycrate.com.
All subscription boxes ship within 4-6 weeks after renewals. Any delays in shipping will be emailed to customers.

Rewards
Our free loyalty program allows customers to get points for every dollar they spend and use it towards big discounts in the future by redeeming them for coupon codes! See all the ways you can earn points Here.
All reward points earned and coupon codes can be found by logging into your account page (person icon). You can redeem coupon codes there or when you view your shopping cart. Note, once reward points have been exchanged for a coupon code they can no longer be tallied with your other reward points. Your unused coupon codes will never expire and can be used toward any future purchase.
No, only one coupon code can be applied per order.
You can redeem your points for a coupon code on your account page or when you view your shopping cart. Note: at least one item must be present in your cart to redeem a coupon code. You must have enough reward points to qualify for the corresponding coupon code amount. A pop-up window will appear with your new coupon code. The coupon still must be applied at checkout when you fill out your shipping information.
Coupons cannot be applied to any order that has already been processed. The coupon is saved on your account page where you can find it anytime and apply it to a future order.
Not every LitJoy item qualifies to receive reviews. If you purchase an item that does not qualify for reviews, you will not be sent a review email.
LitJoy does not resend review emails.
If it is a product that you have purchased in the past, including monthly subscriptions, a review email will not be prompted.
We cannot merge two accounts
If you accidentally created and checked out with a second account, please contact help@litjoycrate.com with both emails from both accounts and indicate which account was an accident.
We can only transfer reward points received from purchases. Any points from Level achievement or rewards are non transferable. Total spent and Level achievement can not be merged or transferred.
Once reward points have been exchanged for a coupon code they can not be put back into points, even if you have not completed the checkout process. Your unused coupon codes will not expire and can be used toward any future purchase. Coupon codes are saved in your LitJoy account page.
Reward points are added to your account within 24 hours after your purchase.
Coupon codes never apply towards shipping cost or taxes.
Some promotional coupon codes are only eligible for certain products.
Lunacorns Membership
Lunacorn Members have access to the Members-Only Store and LitJoy Lunacorns Facebook Group only while their membership is active. You may skip or cancel your Lunacorn membership anytime before your next renewal, or reactivate at any time. If you skip an upcoming renewal you will not have the perks of the membership.
Search "LitJoy Lunacorns" on Facebook and request to join. If you have an active Lunacorn membership an admin will accept your request in about 48 hours. It is required that you please include your membership email address when prompted during your request to join.
You can skip an upcoming renewal of your Lunacorn Membership. If you do skip an upcoming renewal you will not have access to the perks of the Lunacorn membership until your next paid renewal.
While logged in to your account, select "Subscriptions and Memberships" then select "Edit" and then "Skip". We will skip your next renewal and you will not be charged.
Lunacorn Memberships are non-refundable.

First, please refer to our damage guidelines to determine if your product qualifies as damaged. If your product qualifies, please complete the customer service form. This form must be complete within 14 days of receiving the product. We will require photos of the damaged product beside your shipping label.
LitJoy does not replace any packaging that an item comes in, regardless of how beautiful the packaging.

Lunacorn Memberships are non-refundable.

Billing
Lunacorn Memberships:
You must cancel before renewals go through or you will have continued access to the Lunacorn store for that month. Lunacorn memberships are non refundable.
Quarterly To Bee Read Subscriptions:
You must cancel before renewals go through. Otherwise, you will be billed and will receive that quarters box.
Annual To Bee Read Subscriptions:
Annual Membership cancellation requests will go into effect at the end of the annual term. Annual Memberships pre-pay for 4 boxes and are non-refundable.
Canceling your subscription does not provide you a refund for any paid boxes. Your cancellation will go into effect for the following billing cycle.
Please email help@litjoycrate.com 24 hours before your renewal if you need assistance canceling your subscription or membership.
LitJoy accepts: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and pre-paid Visa Gift Cards.
Note: All pre-order products are billed at the time of checkout.
First, log into your LitJoy Account. Navigate to "Payment Method" on the left hand side. Select "Update Card". After filling out all the fields save by clicking "Update Card" again. If you are trying to update your payment method from a credit card to PayPal you must cancel your subscription and repurchase using PayPal as the payment method.
*Please note that your account is created from your billing email. Entering a new/different email than your previous billing email will automatically create a separate account.
This is an error with your payment account, not LitJoy's system. We recommend:
Make sure you have enough funds in your account. If necessary, update your payment information on your LitJoy account to a different payment method.
All pre-order products are charged at checkout at the time of purchase.
Policies
At LitJoy Crate, we strive to deliver the highest quality of products to our customers. However, despite our best efforts, occasionally damaged items may slip through or incur damage during shipment. If you discover any damage to your LitJoy product, we kindly request you to submit your claim_to_ help@litjoycrate.com within 14 days of receiving the item.
To process your claim efficiently, please include the following details in your email:

Attach clear pictures of the damaged product. These images will help us assess the extent of the damage and expedite the claims process.
BOOKS:
Books are considered damaged if:

The book has a tear or dent bigger than 2 cm on the cover

Tears on the inside that extend into the text are considered damage

Books that have water damage

Books that should be signed and are not

Books missing text
We do not consider a book damaged if:

Pages or the Dust Jacket have folds or creases
-
The top or bottom of the book spine is folded in

Dented corners
-
Uneven or over-sprayed edges
-
Scratches on any part of the book
-
Binding is still holding all pages together
-
The ink has variation in the gray scale
-
The foiling is scratched on the book or dust jacket
-
Bubbling in the foiling
-
Wavy pages
-
Any print on the covers, spine, sprayed pages or inside pages are off-centered
ENAMEL PINS:
The following imperfections are considered Grade A quality and do not warrant a replacement:

Small buff marks or scratches on the metal or enamel of the pin. Our enamel pins are hand buffed and will experience light scratches during this process that are unavoidable

Small air bubbles

Some slight imperfections in the metal plating
-
Some slight imperfections in screen printing details

Minor oxidation on the back of the pins
CERAMICS:
Our ceramics are made of organic material that has a handmade component to them so slight imperfections are bound to happen. Below are imperfections that do pass our quality standards:

Small but noticeable bubble

Small but noticeable blank dot

Small but noticeable under or over glazing
-
Minor chips on the bottom of the ceramic that does not impede the integrity of the product
LitJoy reserves the right to determine if a product is considered damaged and will issue compensation as we see fit. In the case of a refund, LitJoy only refunds for the product total and not for any shipping paid.
MINOR DAMAGE: For minor damage we will request that you further damage your item before a replacement or refund is offered.
*LitJoy does not replace or offer refunds on damages to the packaging of the products.
*LitJoy does not replace damaged or missing product cards.
*In some cases LitJoy will only replace a part of the product instead of the whole item.

Rewards Program Policy
POINT REDEMPTION:

Once reward points have been redeemed into a coupon code they can not be put back into points.
-
Earned points and redeemed discount codes never expire and can be used one time on any future purchase. Redeemed rewards codes can be found on the account page(person icon).

Coupon codes may not be applied to orders that have already been processed.
-
Only one coupon can be used per order.

Redeemed coupon codes can not be combined together.

If the discount code exceeds the product amount the remaining balance is forfeited and does not get added to customers account.

Coupon codes do not apply toward shipping cost and taxes.

Reward Points can only be exchanged for $5, $10, $25, $50, $75 or $150 coupon codes.
POINTS AND ORDER CANCELLATIONS:
No cancellations will be awarded when the reward points gained from that order have been redeemed.
If an order is canceled and refunded:

Points gained will be removed from customer’s account

Any VIP Level status earned from the purchase will be returned to status prior to purchase
-
Any order canceled will not be refunded a processing fee, and any applied coupon will be forfeited.
**Chargebacks:** Any accounts with a chargeback claim will no longer have the use of the rewards program. All points in the account will be removed and any redeemed coupon codes will be deactivated. All outstanding orders will automatically be canceled
REWARD LEVELS:

As long as you are a current customer you will stay at levels 1-3. If you are not a current customer for a year you will drop down by one level. Not to worry, with your next purchase you will bump back up to your previous level.

Diamond Dragon - Level 4
-
Is achieved based on the total amount spent with LitJoy since becoming a customer. To remain in Level 4, there is an annual spend minimum requirement of $600.

The annual loyalty gift is achieved after a full year and is eligible to get again after each calendar year.
-
Both annual spend and the minimum spend for the annual loyalty gift is based on subtotal. Shipping, taxes, and Lunacorn membership fees are excluded.

The annual loyalty gift is free to customers with no shipping fee.
-
There is one retention gift per Diamond Dragon customer per year after retention has been achieved.
-
Annual loyalty gift if forfeited if not claimed within one calendar year.
-
The annual loyalty gift is not eligible to be swapped out for points or cash value.
ACCOUNTS:

Reward points are associated with email addresses and can not be combined or merged with another account.

Total Spent and Reward Levels are unable to be merged with another account.
LUNACORN MEMBERS:
- Lunacorn Membership fees do not count toward your lifetime spend.
REVIEWS:
Only reviews left through the link emailed to customers are eligible for reward points.
Reviews will not be posted if:

The customer has not purchased the item they are reviewing.

Review of an individual item when purchased with a crate. Only the full crate is eligible for review and must be left through the email link.

The customer has not yet received the product they are reviewing.
-
The review contains profanity, fraud, or bullying.
-
The review is irrelevant to the product.

Mentions pricing

Contains personal information
-
Any review not approved by our system will not be eligible for reward points.

Reviews can take up to 72 hours to be approved by our system and show up as points in your account.

Certain products are excluded from leaving reviews.

SHIPPING SHOP ORDERS:
LitJoy fulfills all U.S. and International shop orders within 5-7 business days (excluding U.S. federal holidays).
A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent when your order ships. If you do not receive an email please check your spam folder or reach out to help@litjoycrate.com.
Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout and disclosed before completing the checkout process.
*LitJoy is unable to hold a shop order to ship at a later date with a preorder.
*Orders may be combined and shipped together or shipped separately. Any difference in shipping will not be charged or refunded to the customer if there is a difference in shipping.
SHIPPING SUBSCRIPTIONS OR PREORDERS:
To Bee Read Subscription boxes ship once per quarter. Products advertised as pre order will ship on an extended timeline. See our shipping updates blog for specific product details.
CUSTOMS AND TAXES:
Please note that orders may be subjected to VAT, import duties, and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. LitJoy has no control over VAT, import duties, and/or taxes and such fees that are initiated by a customer's country.
SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGE:
If an order has not shipped and we have not started the shipping process for the order, we can manually change the shipping address. Please email help@litjoycrate.com with your order number and new shipping address.
Once the order has started the shipping process, the address can’t be changed on the order.
NOTE: Changing the shipping address on the website will NOT update the shipping address on any past orders including subscriptions that have already renewed.
RETURNED ORDERS:
Domestic Customers:
If an order is returned to sender, the order will not be reshipped until the package is returned and a return and reshipping fee is paid. If a refund is preferred, the product total minus the return fee will be refunded once returned.
If the order is not returned, LitJoy will issue a product refund in the form of store credit for the product total.
*Orders can be reshipped within 30 days of the first scan.
International Customers:
Returned to sender packages are often abandoned during the return process and do not reach us. In these cases, LitJoy will issue a product refund in the form of store credit for the product total.
*Orders can be refunded within 90 days of the first scan.
LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS:
If your order is marked delivered and not received please reach out to help@litjoycrate.com. If your order has been deemed as lost or stolen, LitJoy asks the customer to pay a re-shipping fee. If a refund is preferred, the product total will be refunded.
TRACKING NUMBER NOT UPDATING:
International Customers: If tracking has not updated on your package 45 days after your first scan please contact help@litjoycrate.com and we will aid in tracking down your package, filing a claim, and/or re-shipping your package.
Domestic Customers: If tracking has not updated on your package 21 days after your first scan please contact help@litjoycrate.com and we will aid in tracking down your package, filing a claim, and/or re-shipping your package.
*LitJoy is unable to file claims on lost packages after 30 days from your first scan for domestic packages and 90 days from your first scan for international. We are unable to offer a replacement or refund if a customer reaches out after this time frame.
* In the case of a refund, LitJoy only refunds for the product total and not for any shipping paid.
DAMAGED ITEMS:
In the event that your order arrives damaged, please email us within 14 days of your order marked as delivered at help@litjoycrate.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.

LitJoy may stop shipping to a country due to shipping problems, if the country has changed their trade agreements that LitJoy can not comply with and are having issues with too many lost or stolen packages.
